New band and rehearsing

Ive been rehearing with a vocalist most weeks building a song vocabulary and helping him with finding his range and tuning. 

Practiced with a new band thats just starting up have to see where it goes and whether or not to pursue it.

Hoping to practice with the nottingham based band Overture in the next few weeks and get some gigs up and running.

Starting to teach a pupil next week on basic guitar technique such as chords (open and barred) and scales with picking technique also.

Professional practice proposal

I propose to pursue two different aspects of professional practice with in music, these being teaching guitar to a small group of students and building my clientele,and rehearsing, composing and performing in bands.


I hope to teach at least one student on a weekly basis and improve there skills and knowledge of the instrument in the time i am teaching them.


As far as performing in a band, I have two separate projects which provide different styles and activity to each other.
